Drive from Guwahati to Shillong via Umiam (Barapani) Lake. Check in and evening free in the pine-clad capital. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.
Day 2: Cherrapunjee excursion+
Full day to Cherrapunjee / Sohra — Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, caves and eco park viewpoints. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.
Day 3: Shillong sightseeing+
Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, local peaks and a waterfalls circuit around the plateau. Markets for Khasi crafts in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.
Day 4: Mawlynnong & Dawki+
Excursion to Mawlynnong (Asia’s cleanest village reputation), living-root-bridge area walks, and Dawki’s clear river / Bangladesh border views. Return Shillong. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong · Guwahati departure+
Drive down to Guwahati airport or railway station for onward journey.
